SURYA POWER INDUSTRIES COPPER EARTHING PLATE
A copper earthing plate is a flat sheet of copper used as a grounding (earthing) component in electrical installations. It provides a low-resistance path to dissipate fault currents safely into the ground, protecting equipment and people from electric shocks.

Material:

- The plate is buried vertically or horizontally in a pit (typically 1.5 to 3 meters deep).
- Surrounded by a conductive compound like bentonite, charcoal, and salt to enhance conductivity.
- Connected to the earthing system with a copper strip or cable using bolts and lugs.
- Moisture around the plate is maintained to ensure low resistance.
